Weekly Big 10 Picks

Tuesday
Ohio State vs. Indiana- Indiana’s best player is Tom Pritchard. This is worse than the Cubs relying on Milton Bradley to lead them to the World Series. OSU 84-51.

Wednesday
Penn State vs. #7 Michigan State- Since Goran Sutton has returned, Michigan State has been arguably the hottest team in the nation. After Battle, Pringle, and Cornley there just isn’t much depth for Penn State. Michigan State 72-59.

Illinois vs. #24 Michigan- Probably one of the more intriguing matchups for the week. Meacham and Manny Harris should be a good battle. Illinois 62-59.

Thursday
Northwestern vs. #19 Purdue- A now healthy Purdue should be able to take care of Northwestern on the road. Purdue 78-56.

Saturday
#7 Michigan State vs. Illinois- Michigan State outlasts Illinois in the Izzone. Michigan State 62-58.

Indiana vs. Penn State- Anyone else enjoying Tom Crean’s failures as much as me? Penn State 65-50

#24 Michigan vs. Ohio State- I feel a high scoring shoot-out here. Manny Harris and Deshawn Sims take care of business in Ann Arbor. Michigan 87-81.

Sunday
#19 Purdue vs. Iowa- Iowa struggles without Cyrus Tate and are a young squad. Purdue beats Iowa by 20+. Purdue 74-54.

Northwestern vs. #17 Minnesota- Minnesota splits the week and beats Northwestern on the road. Minnesota 66-54.
